louise waugh

Louise Waugh is a painter and printmaker whose still lifes and landscapes have been exhibited widely in the UK and internationally, including regular appearances at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to painting and a deep appreciation for the beauty of both everyday life and the landscapes she encounters through travel.

Working from her rural studio in West Somerset, Louise paints primarily in oil and acrylic, often beginning with sketches made on location. Combining observation with imagination, her work explores shape, movement, and atmosphere, often inspired by wild places, the sea, and shifting landscapes.
