Flynn O’Reilly graduated in Fine Art from University College Falmouth in 2010 with an interest in the figure and depicting modern life. Flynn retains a keen interest in these subjects. However, since moving back to West Penwith, his work has naturally been influenced by the beautiful nature of the surrounding landscape. His work captures the changing light, dramatic skies and vivid colours that dominate the narrow peninsula.
Recently Flynn has started working with a palette knife, allowing him to capture the immediacy of the environment in front of him, while lending a rugged quality reminiscent of the views he aims to capture.
